Description
Hot Spots are painful sores that develop on a dog's skin. They are caused by a reaction to an insect bite or scratch. As the sore becomes more irritating, the dog begins to lick, chew, and scratch, causing bacteria to grow, creating a hot spot.
Hot spots require quick action. If untreated they increase to twenty times their original size in just one day.
