The chickens are raised over a period that is 50% longer than traditional agriculture so the flavor of the heritage breed chickens has time to develop. They are delicious my family eats them regularly. Farmer John has been growing our kale, collard greens, and pumpkins and papaya seasonally. The kale is a mixture of Red Russian Kale, Tuscan/Lacinato Kale, and Curly Leaf Kale. We pick it in big batches and flash freeze what we cant use right away.
