Description

Keep grooming simple during flea season with the Safari Flea Comb with Wood Handle. This comb is designed with extra-fine teeth to help catch fleas and their eggs while you comb through the coat. Many retailers note it’s ideal to use after flea powders or shampoos, and recommend focusing on common trouble spots (around the ears, nape of the neck, and base of the tail). Between passes, dip the comb into mild detergent water to help clear the tool. Not recommended for matted hair—detangle first to help protect the comb teeth.

Key Benefits

  • Extra-fine teeth help detect and remove fleas and flea eggs
  • Wooden handle offers a comfortable, easy-to-grip hold
  • Often recommended to use after flea powders, shampoos, or treatments
  • Helpful for removing debris such as nits and other particles from the coat
  • Directions commonly suggest dipping comb in mild detergent water between strokes

I have searched high and low for a comb with a handle that was fine enough to remove beggar's lice (green sticky things) from my dog's paws. Before finding this comb it took me a significant amount of time to even remove just half of the beggars, but with this comb takes me 2 minutes to get ALL of it out. yeah!
