Our fish is guaranteed Ethoxyquin-free because like all our products, it is 100% human-grade. We use only food grade, all natural antioxidants for freshness. Our Icelandic Haddock is wild caught using a line and hook, in the cold clean waters off the coast of Iceland. Our Blue Whiting is wild-caught in the waters of Scandinavia and the Arctic. It is one of the most abundant fish stocks in the semi-pelagic water masses of the northeast. Our wild-caught Atlantic Salmon is freeze-dried to preserve the naturally high oil content; salmon is a wonderful source of essential fatty acids.

Great Raw Alternative - The Honest Kitchen Zeal
Both my dogs are on a raw diet however I feed THK exclusively when traveling or if I'm away and someone else is in charge of feeding them. All THK formulas are great however I believe Zeal is the best. It has the highest protein content of all the formulas and is grain-free, not to mention the dogs gobble it down.

excellent - The Honest Kitchen Zeal
Zeal is a little harder to mix than some of the others, but the quality is excellent and the dogs loved it.

Not crazy about texture - The Honest Kitchen Zeal
My dogs LOVE this stuff, but I harder time with the texture of this one, compared to the other flavors. It seemed hard to get the right amount of water. I seemed like it was always either not-quite-enough or too soupy.
I thought the smell would be awful, but it wasn't as bad as I expected.
I'll add this into my rotation every now and then, but between the hefty pricetag and the rehydration/texture issues, it's not my favorite.
