I was on the lookout for a raised feeder that would hold a respectable amount of food and be the right height for an 18 lb miniature schnauzer. This is it! I already have a different brand of raised plastic food storage feeder for my golden retriever (the one that is in all your Wal-Marts and Meijer stores), so I knew it was handy to have the food right there - and that's what I wanted. However, the "Junior" model of the feeder I currently have was so low to the ground, I would have had to build a platform for it - and the amount of food that can be stored is truly negligible. What I love about this feeder: The lid fits only one way and is stable on the first try. Then, it LOCKS in place - making it easy to grab and go if you travel! No risk of spilling your stored food if it tips in the mountain of junk in the trunk! There's a fantastic amount of food storage underneath, and the plastic is smooth, so it's an easy clean-up. The only drawback is that I wish it came in more colors, I'd love a red or black. I think I'm going to replace my large feeder with one of these, because it is such an excellent feeder and the price can't be beat!

I like that it's elevated for my dog's health, and who doesnt love that it's a space saver too..
